Golden Chai Latte

We're halfway through September (wait, WHAT?! 😳 ), and we're in the "can't figure out if it's Summer or Fall" zone. This is the point in the year where I long to pull out all the comfy things - sweaters, scarves, leg warmers, blankets...

...and to drink ALL the hot beverages, especially CHAI.

Last week, I had a huge chai craving, but it was 90 degrees out 🙄 . Iced chai it is! To spice things up, I decided to make it golden with the addition Gaia Herb's Golden Milk powder, which contains Turmeric, Black Pepper, Cardamom, Vanilla, Date Palm Fruit, and Ashwagandha. Turmeric is a powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory spice that improves blood sugar regulation, boosts the immune system, and improves digestion, mood, skin clarity, and heart health. Your body absorbs the antioxidants from Turmeric best when ingested with fats (like coconut milk), or other spices like black pepper.

Iced Golden Chai

Prep Time: 5min (+ time to chill tea)
Serves 2



  1. Brew Masala Chai in boiling water, then let cool in the refrigerator.
  2. Add the chilled chai to the Vitamix, along with coconut milk, hemp seeds, golden milk powder, cinnamon, dates, and optional ice.
  3. Blend until completely mixed, and serve on a hot day!


Hot Golden Chai

Prep Time: 5min
Serves 1



  1. Brew Masala Chai in boiling water.
  2. Add coconut milk, golden milk powder, cinnamon, and maple syrup.
  3. Whisk until fully blended, and enjoy on a cold day!
